這本書可以說是...好到我想買下他。可以說是一本非常優閒，非常適合單純喜歡歐洲藝術的初學者入門書 ( only from 11~18 centuries) 從一般人所熟知的Gothic Style, Renaissance Style and Baroque Style... 都有大幅的圖片、照片說明。(不過我還真的沒聽過"羅馬式風格" - Romanesque Style...)
而就因為只介紹了四種風格，三百頁的書就像一場簡單的歐洲藝術之旅，簡單，大方，不讓你過於疲累。大量的照片也不會也不再讓你繞著文字迷宮裡打轉... 什麼是誇張的Baroque Style，什麼是均衡的Renaissance Style (文藝復興) 風格...眼見為憑！
